Are children welcome?
We love kids, however the wedding is an adult (18+) event.
We are super excited to have secured a Welcome Party venue that allows for children to join us on Friday evening at Canyon Club Brewery. Saturday’s wedding ceremony and reception remain an adult only event.
What is the dress code?
This is a blackout, formal wedding! For men, please wear a black suit and white shirt or a black suit and black shirt. For women, please wear an all black formal (down to your ankles) dress/gown. See the ATTIRE page dedicated to this question.
Is transportation provided?
Yes, shuttle service from the main hotel (Lafayette Park Hotel & Spa) for both the welcome party as well as the wedding day. Details will be provided the week prior in our Welcome Guide (sent via email as well as available on the website - we will send a text.)
What is the parking situation at the wedding venue?
Hacienda de Las Flores’ parking lot has a capacity of 80 cars.
What weather should we be prepared for at the wedding venue?
The venue and celebration will be 90% outdoors. The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all outdoors with dancing indoor/outdoor. Average weather for this week year over year is 75 degrees F. Sometimes the wind can pick up. The venue also has outdoor heaters that will be set up around the perimeter of the reception space.
Can the venue accommodate accessibility needs?
Handicap parking is available. While the venue is paved they also offer a golf cart to assist those who may need a (super quick) shuttle from the ceremony space to the cocktail and reception area. The walk from the parking lot to the ceremony space is about 400 feet.
Photos & Social Media
While our ceremony is phone and camera free aka “unplugged”*, we LOVE photos and can’t wait to see yours! We will be deploying SMS communication prior to the event and this feature enables you to share your photos directly with our unique event phone number (remember that Save the Date text? Reply there!).
*Unplugged definition: during the ceremony we kindly request that phones remain in pockets/purses - our photographer and videography team are amazing and we know you’ll love them as well as our social media content creator’s photos which will be shared within 24 hours of the event.
